We’re delighted to announce that our Open Day raised a fantastic £1,318! 👏

A massive thank you to everyone who came along and supported us. It was brilliant to see so many members of our community enjoying the day, and your generosity and support made the event a huge success.

The money raised will now be split 50/50 between The Fire Fighters Charity and Shepshed Help, supporting two fantastic causes. ❤️

We’d also like to say a big thank you to all of our stallholders who joined us and helped make the day so enjoyable.

Today, we remember our fallen colleague, FF Mick Bird, who tragically lost his life while returning from an emergency call 20 years ago today.

Though two decades have passed, Mick’s memory remains with us. We remember his service, his dedication, and the sacrifice he made in the line of duty.

At 10:30am this morning, we will parade and observe a one minute silence in his memory.

We warmly invite colleagues, friends and members of our community to join us in paying tribute and showing their respects as we remember Mick.

Gone, but never forgotten.

Rest in peace, Mick. 🚒
