The Money Saving Mum

October is fast approaching, summer is nearly over (technically with no more sunshine it is already) and this means darker nights, beautiful colours, the heating on and of course, energy prices bloody going up!

Ofgem has announced the energy price cap for this coming autumn and winter (1 October to 31 December). Surprise, surprise, Energy rates are going up by 4%, which brings the average household bill to £1723 a year.

This rise effectively cancels out the 5% VAT reduction on electricity that the government is introducing, also effective from 1 October. For many, it will still mean an increase as the VAT reduction does not impact gas charges and gas usage will go up as we move into the autumn and winter months.

This means there are still savings to be had for anyone sitting on a standard or variable tariff right now and with our latest market-leading fixed tariff, there's no better time to get ahead of the increases.

I'll leave the graphs in the comments so you can see the comparisons and it's super quick to get saving. I recently did a quote whilst I was stood at the services.

Saving money isn’t about saying no to everything.
It’s about having a choice.
Being able to say yes when it matters
Without stressing about it after
That’s what having control actually looks like.
What would you love to say yes to more often?

Me: “This is the month I finally stick to a budget”

Life:
School trips
Random expenses
Food shop doubling for no reason
And just like that… it’s gone.

Budgeting as a mum isn’t planning… it’s reacting.

We go again next month.

What’s the thing that’s ruined your budget lately?

Every month you wait… your bills win this race again.

Not because you’re bad with money

Not because you’re doing anything wrong

But because no one’s shown you an easier way

Meanwhile, prices creep up
Direct debits stay the same (or worse… go up)

And you’re left wondering where it’s all going

It’s not about earning more

It’s about keeping more of what you’ve already got

I help busy mums reduce their stress around money and budgeting so they can say yes more to themselves and their children, whilst being able to manage their money like a boss!

If you’re fed up of coming second to your bills… my inbox is open

Most people don’t switch their bills.

Not because they shouldn’t, but because they think it’s a hassle.

“It’s too complicated”

“I don’t have time”

“What if it goes wrong?”

Meanwhile… they’re quietly overpaying every month.

Doing nothing is usually the more expensive option.

What’s stopped you switching before?

Need help then give me a shout!

You don’t need hours to manage your money.
Try this once a week:
Check your spending
See what’s coming out
Adjust if needed
10 minutes. That’s it.
Less stress, fewer surprises.
Could you stick to that?

DM me if you need to save money on your bills.

QUESTION TIME!

What’s something you used to spend money on but don’t anymore?

You have to stop and ask yourself, is today going to be another ‘one day’ or is it going to be ‘day one’?

Will you be doing anything today that will lead you down the path to fulfillment, success and abundance?

This is your chance to make today amazing.

This is your chance to make a decision that future you will show immense gratitude for.

I have the power to create change.
