Skipton Camerata are back this November.

Hear three remarkable musical works that explore wonder, faith and reflection. From the warmth and optimism of Herschel’s Symphony No. 8, through the spiritual depth of Bach’s Christ lag in Todesbanden, to the emotional intensity of Mozart’s Symphony No. 40.

Craven Museum YAC (Young Archaeologists’ Club) had a great time at this month’s session exploring teeth and dentistry through time. They identified a range of animal teeth from the collection, from cow to woolly rhino, then became time-travelling dentists and concocted their own treatments for imaginary characters with dental problems from across history, using special dentist toolkits! These included real museum objects, along with a selection of unusual items inspired by real historical dental treatments. To finish off, they made (and sampled) their own historical mouthwash.

Please note, Craven Museum YAC is currently full. To add your child to the waiting list (aged 8-16), please email [email protected]
