RAFAC is made up of two areas:

Air Training Corps - The ATC is the RAF's cadet force, divided into six regions, 34 wings and more than 900 squadrons within communities around the UK. Combined Cadet Force (RAF) - The CCF (RAF) is our section of the CCF which is made up of cadets from all three services, coming together in approximately 200 independent and state schools across the country

🇫🇷 🇬🇧 Le Crunch Rugby Match

Cadets from London & South East Region represented RAFAC on the national stage at Saracens’ StoneX Stadium for the high-stakes "Le Crunch" Rugby Union fixture between the Royal Air Force and the French Armée de l'Air et de l'Espace!

With RAF Music Services deployed on official duties for the Sultan of Oman's State Visit, cadets from Middlesex Wing stepped up to form the band, flawlessly performing both National Anthems. Cadets also formed the official Guard of Honour as the teams took the pitch, as well as providing ball recovery services throughout the match.

Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sir Harvey Smyth, was on hand to greet the cadets before kick-off and returned after the game to thank them for their professionalism and hard work.

Engagements like this showcase the true value of the RAF Air Cadets. By placing young people in high-profile, high-pressure environments, our progressive syllabus instills confidence, discipline and real-world skills that prepare them to lead in tomorrow’s military and civilian workforce.

A huge well done to all the cadets involved for representing the organisation with such pride!

🎯 Best of luck to our RAF Air Cadets competing at CISSAM 2026 this week!

They're down at Bulford Ranges going up against the Sea, Army, and Combined Cadet Forces in the annual Inter-Services Skill at Arms Meeting.

Under the guidance of our volunteer shooting coaches, the team has been busy practicing on the L98A2 GP r***e ahead of the final competition at the end of the week.

Cadets are taught weapon handling skills as part of a structured programme of supervised training that emphasises safe and responsible use.

Bring it home, team! 🎯

🌺 The Remembrance period begins.

As we enter this period of reflection, we remember all those who have served, those who made the ultimate sacrifice and all those whose lives have been changed by conflict.

For the Royal Air Force Air Cadets, Remembrance is an opportunity to honour their service and sacrifice, to learn from their stories, and to ensure their legacy lives on in future generations.

Across the country, our cadets and volunteers will join their communities in paying tribute to the fallen. By standing alongside veterans, serving personnel and members of the public, they help keep the act of Remembrance alive.

We will remember them.
