Bonfire Night reminder 🎆
Bonfire Night is a time to enjoy the celebrations safely. We encourage residents to attend an organised public display, where fireworks are managed by trained professionals.

Setting off fireworks in a public place is a criminal offence and can result in heavy fines. It can also endanger lives. Please celebrate responsibly and help keep everyone in our community safe.

Join us for the Cheswick Green Parish’s traditional Christmas light switch-on and a festive evening for the whole community!

The lights switch on at 5.00pm, with a visit from Santa and a family disco from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. There’ll be festive refreshments too, mulled w**e and C***r.

The event is free to attend. A free minibus will run from the Blythe Valley Co-op, starting at 4.15pm with return trips. Children must be supervised by an adult.

We’d love to see you there — bring your family and friends and help us celebrate together!

Please join us on Sunday 8th November to remember those who have fallen.

We’ll gather at the war memorial on Noble Way at 10.45am. The Parish Council, Boys’ Brigade and local primary school will lay wreaths, and a local boy will play the Last Post. A two-minute silence will be observed at 11.00am.

Afterwards, everyone is welcome at Cheswick Green village hall for tea, coffee, biscuits and cakes. Donations to the Poppy Appeal are welcome.
