Growing Up in Scotland Study findings have shown that almost a quarter of young people in the study who didn’t vote in the 2021 Scottish Parliament election weren’t registered to vote in time or didn’t realise they had to register. You can register to vote online, in advance, from the age of 14 at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote. You do not have to wait for an election to be announced.
