🚩Join the Stirling progressive societies alongside UCU Stirling University at a rally outside the Stirling Court Hotel on Monday the 15th December (13:30-15:30).

✊We must stand together to express our concern at the voluntary severance scheme that has seen over 170 jobs cut, having a massive impact on staff workload and therefore us as students.

❌Moreover, we want to protest the possibility of forced redundancies in the future.

📢We will have speakers from trade unions and students.

✊🏻🚩The SSY will be attending the anti-racist march in Falkirk on Saturday alongside our comrades in trade unionism and across the community. Want to join our youth socialist bloc? Drop us a DM.

A fantastic first session for SSY Stirling’s Reading of Jean Luc Melenchon’s Now, The People! We had some brilliant discussions about the possibility of revolution, the nature of class, and what socialism would look like in the 21st century. It was an absolute pleasure to run our harm reduction workshop this week, and to see it so well attended.

Harm reduction is an essential, potentially life-saving initiative that is a huge priority for us. It's one of our missions to make university drug policy and our campus safer.
