In conjunction with Stirling Council's Good Food Fortnight, Braehead Community Garden will be hosting pop up veg stalls in both our own garden, St Ninians library (tomorrow, Tues 3rd 11am - 1pm) & Dunblane library. We will have easy to follow recipe cards with the fresh veg provided, seeds of crops that grow well in Scotland and some seed potatoes and onions sets for planting at home. It's that time of year - look out your scary costumes, get ready for creepy games, loosen up for some spooky dancing and just have lots of fun!!
Our Halloween Festival is back on Saturday 25th October in the garden.
Braehead Parent Forum will have pumpkins for sale on site, or carve yours in advance and enter it by 430pm.
We have condensed the timings this year to bring the day together so we are keen to get feedback on what works and what doesn't (on everything we do 😁).

We want to give a huge shout out to the HR team of M&G and Employee Volunteering for a wonderful staff team building day at our garden! 36 team members came along to help tidy, w**d, paint and even chase an escapee chicken for the day at Braehead Community Garden. Luckily the weather was on our side and they got so much done! The garden looks almost new 😁 People came from just around the corner, Glasgow, Edinburgh & as far as London! And you are all welcome back...
We hope you all enjoyed the day and didn't feel too tired the next morning! And also huge thanks to David & Emily from EV, who coordinated the day from M&G's side.
If anyone wants to find out more about what our garden can offer your workplace or organisation, get in touch - Nikki [email protected]
