Volunteers' Week 2026 - Celebrating 80 years of the Friends of Bramall Hall & Park

As part of Volunteers’ Week 2026, we want to shine a light on the fantastic contribution of the Friends of Bramall Hall & Park, who celebrate an impressive 80 years this July.

For over eight decades, this dedicated group has supported Bramall Hall and Park, helping to deliver events and activities, fundraising to help care for the Hall’s collections, and keeping the park vibrant and welcoming for the visitors and the local community.

Recent projects include the Victorian Rock Garden, the planting of fruit trees in the Victorian walled garden, and research including a series of new publications on the Hall’s history.

Each year, the Friends contribute over 2,000 volunteer hours, this invaluable support helps Bramall Hall and Park continue to thrive at the heart of the community.

Volunteering makes a real difference, and 80 years of continued support is something truly special.

A huge thanks goes out to all of our Friends, past and present.

A friendly message that it is nesting season for the wonderful wild water birds who call Bramhall Park their home!
We want you to safely enjoy the beauty of the wildlife in the park, so if you're around the ponds, please respect the natural boundaries and behaviours of our feathery friends. Children should be supervised at all times.
Understandably the geese (and ducks) are territorial and may show aggressive behaviours if they feel threatened, in order to protect their nests or their young.

Why not make a day of it, by enjoying the fresh Spring air in the park, buy some duck food at the Visitor Centre & Shop to help keep them sustained, and a ticket for a visit to the Hall while you're here? The inside is as fabulous as the outside!

Standard opening times (excl. Friday 3rd April)
£3.00 per trail + adult admission

Our Easter Trail is taking place throughout the holidays. Children can learn about Easter traditions, spot cheeky chicks hiding and meet a giant version of one of this holidays' favourite characters!
Finish the trail and receive one of our famous Bramall Hall badges as a prize!

Tickets available on Eventbrite (+ booking fee).
Tickets are also available on the day at our Visitor Centre/Shop, subject to availability.
