Aquinas College Aquinas College is a sixth form college in Stockport, UK. We strive to be a Catholic college for the whole community.

We are a Catholic community based on the Gospel values of freedom, justice and love. Aquinas College is a relaxed and friendly place, with a sense of mutual respect, identity and purpose. Relationships between staff and students are informal yet purposeful, and we have the following guidelines rather than a set of rules - be mindful of others and responsible for yourself. With no academic selection, we are one of the few genuinely open-access colleges around, but we have the highest expectations of all our students. We set rigorous standards of work and achievement and believe that every student deserves the best possible support to reach their full potential.

Our Lower Sixth Geography students recently visited Bramhall Park as part of their studies into the carbon cycle!

Our Culture Day 2026 brought students together through music, dance, karaoke, cultural dress, food and plenty of fun, all while raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support! 💚
A brilliant opportunity to celebrate our differences, share experiences and come together for a great cause.

We were delighted to welcome representatives from WaterBear – The College of Music to Aquinas recently!

With campuses in Brighton and Sheffield, WaterBear specialises in industry-focused music education, offering degree courses in performance, songwriting, music production and music business.

Our Music students enjoyed an insightful talk exploring the music industry, potential career pathways and opportunities for further study, with the chance to ask questions and consider their next steps after Aquinas. 🎤
