Do you want to volunteer in your community and make a difference in helping tackle crime in your neighbourhood?
Stockport Youth Justice and Targeted Youth Support Service (YJS/TYS) works with young people between the ages of 10 and 17 who are involved in crime and/or anti-social behaviour, or those children on the cusp of becoming involved.
Referral Order Panels give members of the local community a say in putting together, with the child and their family, a plan of intervention(s) which will ensure that young offenders repair the harm done and are given positive help to prevent further problems arising.
Referral Order Panel Meetings normally take place every Tuesday evening between 5pm and 7pm with the occasional ad hoc sessions.
