Join the HIAL Board
Applications have opened for up to three Non-Executive Director positions on the Board of Highlands and Islands Airports Ltd (HIAL).

Key criteria includes:
· experience of safe and effective operations in the airport, aviation or aerospace sector
· experience of managing human resources in support of an organisation’s strategic goals and objectives, and working with trade unions
· lived experience of the communities HIAL airports serve and of the services that HIAL provides
· ability to demonstrate knowledge of the key issues affecting island and rural communities served by HIAL

We’re recruiting a Senior Air Traffic Control Officer (SATCO) at Stornoway Airport.

We’re looking for an experienced ATCO with strong people management and leadership skills, alongside a sound understanding of ATC technical and regulatory requirements.

The role involves shift work and requires strong decision-making, communication and teamwork skills. Experience of unit and project management would be an advantage, as would an OJTI licence endorsement.

Applicants should hold a CAA ATCO licence with ADI and APP ratings, although applicants with one rating may also be considered.
