Have Your Say on the Future of Healthcare in South-East Wales
Health boards across south-east Wales are inviting local people to share their views on the future of healthcare services across the region.
Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, Cardiff and Vale University Health Board and Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board have launched a new public engagement exercise to hear from patients, carers, families, NHS staff and local communities.
Why are the Health Boards asking for your views?
The NHS is facing significant challenges, as well as opportunities to work differently and improve the way care is delivered.
By planning and delivering some services together, health boards believe they can make better use of NHS staff, specialist skills, facilities and technology – helping people to access the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
Regional working does not mean replacing local healthcare services. Instead, it can allow specialist expertise, equipment and capacity to be shared across south-east Wales where this could provide the greatest benefit for patients.
Have your say
Residents across south-east Wales are encouraged to take part in a short survey and share their experiences, views and priorities for healthcare services.
Every response will help the health boards build a clearer picture of what matters most to people living in south-east Wales and will help inform future planning for health services across the region.
