Having children of your own doesn’t rule you out, in fact many of our foster carers balance their own family life alongside fostering. What matters most is time, stability and a genuine willingness to support a child.

The Flags Are Flying for National Adoption Week!

To mark National Adoption Week, Adopt Coast to Coast is displaying the vibrant Flag It Up installation at The Light (DH1 5TU) until 25 October.

Created by adoptive families, Adopt Coast to Coast and artist, and adopter Kate Sweeney, the project brings together the voices of adopted young people, adoptive parents and social workers through a series of creative workshops.

Each flag represents hope, belonging and the importance of finding loving, permanent families for children who need them. Visit the display, start a conversation about adoption, and discover how you could make a life-changing difference.

If you've ever thought about adoption, why not take a moment to visit the display.

Find out more about adoption with our Regional Adoption Agency at www.adoptcoasttocoast.org.uk
