Healthwatch Sunderland Healthwatch is the consumer champion for everyone who uses health and social care services in Sunderland.

Local Healthwatches have been set up across England to create a strong, independent consumer champion whose aim is to:
• Strengthen the collective voice of citizens and communities in influencing local health and social care services to better meet their needs
and
• Support people to find the right health and social care services for them by providing appropriate information, advice and signposting.

"Be Wise. Immunise!

A free flu nasal spray vaccine is available for children aged 2-3 and for those with medical conditions aged 6 months to 18 years. Children aged 2-3 (by Aug 31, 2026) can get vaccinated at their GP surgery or participating pharmacy.

School age children up to year 11 will receive information for free nasal spray vaccination at school from the School Age Immunisation Service."
