🎄 Our Artisan Christmas Market is back, and this year, for THREE days! 🎄

After the lovely success of our first market, we’re delighted to be doing it all again, with even more time to enjoy a little festive cheer at The Abbey.

Come along and discover beautiful handmade gifts, local art and unique artisan creations. There’ll be mince pies, mulled w**e, delicious food and live music to keep you feeling suitably Christmassy.

✨ Three days of festive delights, good food, lovely things and plenty of Christmas cheer. We’d love to see you!

Three years of The Abbey Café! 🎂☕️❤️

And we have a very special guest joining us to celebrate: Olivier, our former chef, with whom we launched the café! 👨‍🍳

When we opened our doors in October 2023, we had no idea how much the café would grow or how warmly you would embrace it, and it has since become a lovely little gathering place at The Abbey, thanks to all of you who have supported us, visited regularly and helped create its warm and welcoming atmosphere. ❤️

Come celebrate with us this Saturday! 🎉
Good food, familiar faces, great company, and Olivier back where it all began. 🥂🎈

We can’t wait to see you! 🤗

🍑 Not all the plums were stolen…! 🍑

So, there is some good news: despite the mysterious disappearance of a large quantity of our plums, we managed to save enough to make our very own Abbey plum jam. 😄

Made with homegrown plums, a little sugar, a lot of love, and a healthy dose of resilience. Because apparently, around here, even the fruit needs security. 😓

A BESHARA TRUST FOUNDATION COURSE (blended learning)

We’re delighted to welcome back the Beshara Trust in October 2026 for this introductory weekend to their foundational course in esoteric education with an emphasis on both knowledge and practice.

Taking the metaphysics of Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi as a starting point, the course explores what it means to understand oneself and the world in the light of unity.

Join us at the Abbey from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th October 2026 for this exceptional weekend! (Attendance Face-to-Face or by Zoom)
