Mrs Peapell organised a lovely Halloween event in The Hub today: "Term 1 went out with a BANG in the Hub! I organised a Hub Halloween Party for my Hub Lunch Club regulars. We had music, lots of dancing, crisps and biscuits, sweets, laughter and loads of fun. A great time had by all and the perfect way to round off the term. Sweets were given to all who attended and extras offered to those with the spookiest moves!"

Mrs Loxton shares this great opportunity to beat the London crowds... "Bringing History to life: STEAM museum in Swindon and Tewkesbury Abbey are both running opportunities to get up close to the Bayeux Tapestry without battling the queues in London. Both sites have opportunities to see replica tapestries and experience for yourself Norman conquest and life.

STEAM runs from the 10 - 19 November. Tickets are available to purchase (£5 adult, £4 concession) https://www.steam-museum.org.uk/event/bayeux-around-britain/

Tewkesbury Abbey exhibition is from 22 October to 11 July 2027 and is FREE! https://www.tewkesburyabbey.org.uk/bayeux/

Both Year 7 and Year 11 are currently studying the Norman conquest but this would be a fantastic opportunity for all year groups. Year 11 students would definitely benefit from the Tewkesbury Abbey experience to support their revision. You may see a History teacher or 2 there when you visit!"

What an afternoon! Massive thanks to Malmesbury School for hosting a Girl’s ‘rock up to rugby’ event. The afternoon was contact fuelled learning how to fall safely, tackle and ruck! All their hard work and games was put in to practice at the end with a full size rugby game - this was amazing to see! Well done girls 💪
