Greenmeadow Primary School Welcome to the official Greenmeadow Primary School page. I am delighted to welcome you to our school Facebook site.. Mrs Mackinnon, Headteacher

We are constantly looking for ways to enable individual children to find their strengths and shine. We recognise that children learn best when their self esteem is high and they have the confidence to work outside their comfort zone. We challenge the children to surprise themselves and achieve what they thought was impossible. On a daily basis we see examples of this both in situations where children achieve something outstanding or rise to a personal challenge which raises the bar on their previous best.

A great local project which the children used their art skills to brighten the local area. Thanks Haydon Wick Council :)

Year 1 and 2 enjoyed a fantastic Castle Theme Day, stepping back in time to discover what life was like in medieval times!

The children became creative castle characters as they made their own crowns and shields, baked delicious bread rolls and took part in castle-themed games in the hall, working together as a team. We finished our exciting day with a medieval feast, enjoying our freshly baked bread rolls, followed by some traditional medieval dancing.

It was a wonderful day full of creativity, teamwork and hands-on learning!

Year 1 had a fantastic afternoon practising their scooter skills! The children worked hard on their balance and coordination, building their confidence as they learned new tricks and developed their scooting skills. Well done, Year 1, for showing great determination and giving everything a go!

You can add comments and photos of things that they have also done at home. Thanks to the parents & families who have gone on so far. Please have a look if you haven't logged on yet. Thanks
