Love music that gets your toes tapping and takes you somewhere unexpected? Good Habits are bringing their infectious blend of indie folk, dazzling musicianship and vivid storytelling to venues across our area this November!

Made up of Bonnie Schwarz on cello and vocals, and Pete Shaw on accordion, synths and percussion, this dynamic duo create a sound that’s full of energy, beautiful harmonies and genre-bending surprises.

Having played Glastonbury and toured across Australasia and the UK, Good Habits are winning audiences over with their distinctive take on folk music. Their album Quarter-Life even reached the UK Top 40 Folk Charts!

Expect virtuosic playing, irresistible rhythms and a lively musical journey that’s anything but ordinary.

24 hours in Devon! A whistle stop tour of Ashley Court for Sasha Miller of purplebrown farm store in Ohio, winner of the LDE legacy award. Here she is with Olaf the cat, with Nigel overlooking the old strawberry field, with Dames Claire and Tara, into the walled garden, looking at historical recipe books, veg from the walled kitchen garden picked and prepared by wonderful young cook Pickle from , for our dinner accompanied by ciders and Perrys from Rull Orchard Thanks to LDE London for organising it, what fun!!

10 week Movement Miracle online yoga course with Tara Fraser

10 x 50 minute sessions to permanently change the way you move, breathe and make your way in the world.

Yoga and fascial release movements aligned to Dr Rolf’s 10 series. This program of work is designed to produce some lasting and significant change in the way you use your body. You do not need any prior experience of yoga or of Rolfing to sign up to these sessions. They work well if you are refining your movement practice or are meeting a change or challenge in your life, of any description.

All sessions are recorded so if you miss one you can catch up with a recording. By the end of the 10 sessions you will have built a little personalised 20-30 minute program of exercises for yourself that make the most impact on the way you move.

Volunteer Gardening in Ashley Court's Historic Walled Kitchen

Do you love being outdoors, getting your hands in the soil, and watching things grow?

We are looking for friendly volunteers to join a small, welcoming team working in our beautiful walled garden. Meeting every Wednesday at 10.00am, under the expert eye of long time gardener The Reverend Ian Johnson, for many years a senior volunteer at Knightshayes Court. Tasks range from sowing and planting to weeding, harvesting, and general upkeep of the vegetable beds, so there's something for every ability and interest. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn and enjoy good company. You'll gain fresh air, new skills, a sense of community, and the satisfaction of helping bring a historic garden to life. Tea and biscuits are always on hand!
