I have met with the leadership team at Royal Mail multiple times but their solutions haven’t fixed the problem.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is a front for the IRGC, who are responsible for fostering terror around the globe. Being photographed with Araghchi can used to garner support abroad.

I wrote to Ed Miliband to ask why he had changed our policy on Iran and shaken hands with their Foreign Minister.

Has the intelligence changed on Iran? Have they stopped trying to kill in the UK? If not the Foreign Secretary must explain what he’s trying to achieve.

Given the dangers we face and the violence they threaten, we need answers.

I thought that in light of the success of the Leigh Flood Storage Area opening last week, I would share some insight on how it works and why it's important.

It was such an honour to open the site last week. However it's clear that we need to see investment in flood response in Edenbridge and East Peckham as well, something that I am continuing to push for too.

Earlier this summer GTR (formerly Southern Rail) entered public ownership. Not long after, the service on the Uckfield Line started to deteriorate. We've had trains removed from the timetable, more short formations, and frequent cancellations.

The Uckfield Line isn't working under the current rail operating model. I'm one of a group of MPs calling for change. This should start with electrification, allowing more trains to run on the track.

Visiting flooded homes 13 years ago I saw we needed better defences. Since then I’ve been working to expand the Leigh Flood Storage Area.

This team effort helps protect thousands of homes and hundreds of businesses from severe flooding.

We secured over £40 million in investment for our community. It was an honour to officially open the works this morning.
