The Canal Museum & Cafe Museum at the heart of Stoke Bruerne on the Grand Union Canal http://canalrivertrust.org.uk/the-canal-museum

Experience the historic Grand Union canal in the picturesque village of Stoke Bruerne. Enjoy a family day-out, with walks along the canal side or through woodland, take a boat trip or watch boats pass by from our café. Explore our newly refurbished museum free of charge, and discover the unique history of Britain’s canals. From feats of engineering to construction challenges and how the canals fuelled the industrial revolution, there’s plenty to see. You can also meet Sculptor, our historic museum boat, which is moored up outside the museum. You’ll be sure to find something for all ages at the Canal Museum!
