Tring Library The local library for Tring Donate to Hertfordshire Libraries

Itโ€™s now easy to donate online to the library service by visiting our website.

We are often offered donations of money by users who wish to show their appreciation for the service. Those who visit the library are able to do this in person. Now you can also support the library service by donating online. You don't have to donate. Hertfordshire Libraries are a universal and free service to the community. Your decision to donate is an entirely voluntary one. We ask that you donate only as much as you feel comfortable with. You may want to consider either a one-off payment or more frequently.

100% of each donation goes directly to Hertfordshire Libraries and is used to maintain and enhance our services. https://www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/librarydonations

Pop kettle on and have a cuppa while you read the children's October blog!
This month we travel the galaxy to distant planets and meet lovable space unicorns. There are rebellious fairies, sensitive dinosaurs and time-travelling penguins. We introduce a series that livens up some classic nursery rhymes. Plus, thereโ€™s a Q&A with Helen Docherty, author of the fantastic Superwolf, and we have a list of some of our favourite dyslexia-friendly stories. Phew.

Tring Library had the pleasure of hosting another Walking Reading Group. We set off on an hour-long circular walk from the library to Tring Park armed with questions about โ€˜My Husbandโ€™s Wifeโ€™ by Alice Feeney. We enjoyed a lively discussion along the way and back at the library we enjoyed a nice cuppa, cake and fruit while answering the quiz. A huge thank you to our wonderful customers for their support.
