The Poppy Appeal season has started and we have been out in Tesco to kick things off. It was great to chat with the public all while raising lots of money for a great charity.

Well done to all cadets who volunteered and presenting yourselves so well to the public.

This day marks the start of wearing our poppies. Remembrance is coming up swiftly, and we wear this poppy to remember those who fought and fell in war. It is a true honour, so wear it with honour.

Also, our cadets will be doing poppy appeals over the next few weeks, so come and say hi and donate!

We had the absolute privilege of visiting the Wingfield Care Home in Trowbridge today. Our cadets got to perform a short drill display, chatted with the residents, and a few explained their wonderful experiences!

The response from the care home was heart warming, where they said the cadets are a real credit to the organisation, and were very grateful for brightening the day of those there!

We had a special mention from one of the residents, Geoff Faulkner, who is an Ex-RAF 264 Squadron. He praised how our drill was immaculate, especially in the refined space, and how we made his evening.

It was an honour visiting you all, and we hope to see you again! Thank you!!

A huge well-done to these amazing cadets for passing their Blue Radios badge on wednesday! Despite the speed through, you all persevered and did wonderfully - congratulations!

A specific well-done to Cdt Roberts for completing her Blue Leadership, Cdt Geoghegan and Cdt Saddler for their Bronze Space, and Cdt Geoghegan for completing her Bronze music!!!

We had a great evening meeting the residents and staff at Wingfield Care Home. It was lovely to be able to share stories and memories, and to receive so much kind feedback. We look forward to meeting up with the residents again in the future.

On Wednesday we celebrated day 3 of -volunteer celebration day! to do this the cadets spent a Padre’s hour looking at what our cadet force adult volunteers (CFAVs) do for our cadets to give us the best experiences and get the most out of the organisation. To thank them we ended the evening by making thank you cards for the staff with some very heartfelt messages.
