Expect the unexpected, whatโ€™s around the next corner? Stationary traffic, a fallen tree, or another vehicle on the wrong side of the road?

Over the past decade, people in cars have accounted for the largest group of road casualties. Stay safe by driving within your ability, adapting to the conditions, and adhering to speed limits - donโ€™t become another statistic

In wet weather, it takes at least twice as long to stop as it does on a dry road. This is because your tyres have less grip on the road in wet weather.

The recommended two-second rule in dry conditions should be doubled to at least four seconds when driving in wet conditions.

Slow down and increase the distance between you and the vehicle ahead. Giving yourself extra space allows more time to react and reduces the risk of a collision - stay safe and donโ€™t become another statistic.
