A picturesque daffodil walk linking three villages in Eden a memory to all those lost through covid
14/02/2026
Very soon we will see the daffodils out on our walk
Many thanks to local farmer cutting the verge
We are in the process of acquiring some directional posts and two end notice boards one for start and one for the end
These shall have a QR code on them which will link directly to a route map
If any local follower of this page knows someone who could carve a daffodil head on the directional posts for free for us both Belinda and I would be grateful.

We are meeting 1.30 29/09/25 Armathwaite station to plant last of the late Mike Carriers legacy donation
Mike was an advocate of saving the signal box
And so it’s fitting that we plant up railway hill
We will save some for each side of the bench in front of the old school hall
Everyone welcome bring a trowel

We planted 64000 daffodil bulbs along a six mile walk in memory of those lost and affected by Covid.
The daffodils are in full bloom now
I’ve taken a few photos and will post some more over the next week.
Please take a photo and post if you’re on your walk
