3 years later and these Prunus serrula are looking gorgeous. They provide light screening from the road. And together with the Choisya and Stipa they soften the fence. Easy and low maintenance with a great impact on this gravel driveway.

Small alcove of a much larger project. But it shows how much impact these small places have. It was dark and uninspiring (swipe for the last photo) and now it’s bright and beautiful. This simple space offers a great extra view from the hallway and living room. Don’t underestimate the impact of the smaller details.

Simple but elegant detail - edging this very large patio. A row of lavender along the brick wall softens the hard landscaping and creates a lovely space to add some beautiful stone globe lights.

Love these Liquidambar roof form trees, aka parasol trees. We used them to provide areas of shade on this beautiful patio and they look great. Over time they will be trained to link together for even more natural shade.

Last few days I’ve posted pictures and a video from my project in Henley. Really pleased with how it’s turned out and luckily my lovely client agrees.
Keep an eye out for more photos.

I’m a big fan of using these steel planters. Great for side paths as they create lots of impact with minimal maintenance. Keeping the space tidy and beautiful.

Visited one of my projects today which was completed just before the summer. The planting has grown beautifully in its first season.

The Liquidambar roof form trees will grow towards each other over the next years to form natural shade for the lounge and dining spaces.

Calamagrostis Karl Foerster is a great ornamental grass to create subtle screening and movement.
