Raby Estate Community Litter Pick 🌿

This week, the Raby Estate team got out and about for a community litter pick, helping to keep our countryside and local surroundings clean, safe and looking their best.

A big thank you to everyone who took the time to get involved. It was great to see the team working together and making a real difference, even with the amount of litter we came across.

Thank you to our team for getting stuck in!

Recently, we welcomed Taylor for a week of work experience, where he had the chance to spend time with different members of our team and see the variety of work that goes on across the estate.

From groundworks and estate maintenance to spending time in our joinery workshop, Taylor got stuck into a range of practical tasks and saw first-hand the skills involved in looking after our homes, farmland, woodland and historic estate.

Placements like this are a great way for young people to gain practical experience outside of the classroom, build confidence, learn about working as part of a team and discover the different career opportunities available on a rural estate.

It was great to have Taylor with us for the week. He worked hard, showed plenty of enthusiasm and made the most of the opportunity.

Thanks for all your hard work, Taylor, and we wish you all the best for the future!

With the current hot and dry weather, fire risk on the Wrekin is elevated.

We kindly ask all visitors to help protect this special landscape by not lighting fires, using disposable barbecues, or discarding ci******es.

Even a small spark can quickly spread and cause serious damage to wildlife, habitats and surrounding land.

Thank you for helping us keep the Wrekin safe.

Kind regards
