November at Goodwood.

November opens with an evening of fire and festivities, as Bonfire Night brings a roaring bonfire and spectacular fireworks to The Kennels. As the temperatures drop, the November set menu offers a welcome retreat from the cold, with seasonal flavours and comforting dishes to savour. Within the warmth of the clubhouse, a series of masterclasses invites you to gather, learn something new and ease into the season ahead.

At the Goodwood Art Foundation, a new exhibition invites visitors to explore both art and the natural world. Meanwhile, at Goodwood Farm Shop, discover the craft behind Goodwood Cheese, with drop-in sessions hosted by Head Cheesemaker Sasha, offering a closer look at the skill and care that go into every creation.

As the last of autumn’s colours fade, the Estate is far from slowing down. Land Rover engines hum around the Motor Circuit, tails wag in Tapster’s Paddock and the changing season brings a new rhythm to life at Goodwood. From fireside gatherings to adventures across the Estate, discover what November has in store.

Skip the slopes. Not the party.

The Après Ski Party is back on the Putting Green at The Kennels and it's the only December night out you need to book.

Dig out the salopettes, find your best après look and leave the planning to us. The Putting Green transforms into an alpine playground for two nights this December - twinkling lights, a live DJ, a welcome shot of toffee vodka, seasonal street food and a glitter artist to finish the look. All you bring is your friends.

It's the end-of-year celebration that skips the airport queue and goes straight to the good part.

October at Goodwood.

October brings a change of pace to Goodwood as the Estate settles into the colours and character of autumn. From the final gallop of the racing year to woodland walks and seasonal food, there’s plenty to discover as the days grow shorter.

At the Racecourse, the Season Finale marks the year's final race day, bringing the curtain down on another exhilarating season with a relaxed, country-style celebration. The Kennels welcomes the new season with a fresh seasonal set menu, celebrating the very best of autumn’s produce through a selection of thoughtfully crafted dishes and at Goodwood House, history takes centre stage as acclaimed historian Andrew Roberts joins us for an evening exploring Napoleon and His Marshals, uncovering the rivalries, ambitions and betrayals that shaped one of history’s most extraordinary empires.

As autumn deepens, October is a time to slow down and explore the changing landscape.

Could a series of letters take down a King?

The letters contained in the two Junius volumes were explosive. Written under the pseudonym Junius, they openly criticised King George III and his government in eighteenth-century Britain. Their influence was extraordinary, the letters contributed to growing political pressure that ultimately led to the resignation of the Prime Minister, the Duke of Grafton.

Yet the identity of Junius remains a mystery. For centuries, historians have debated who was behind these scathing letters. More recently, attention has turned to the 3rd Duke of Richmond, whose role in the story has been explored by Harvard historian Danielle Allen.

Allen argues that the “Radical Duke” helped coordinate the writing of the letters as part of a wider parliamentary agenda for political reform.

At first glance, these volumes may appear unassuming. But within their pages lies a powerful reminder of the influence of the printed word and its ability to challenge authority, shape public opinion and provoke political change.

Before there was a race circuit, there was a passion for flight.

The 9th Duke of Richmond, Freddie March, developed his interest in flight in his youth while watching military planes at Tangmere during the Great War. He taught himself the fundamentals of flying, designed his own aircraft and later served in the RAF during the Second World War.

That pioneering spirit lives on at the Freddie March Spirit of Aviation Party. Billed by the Duke of Richmond as the "Revival Opening Party", our guests were offered first access to the planes on land and in the skies as well as vintage-style food and live music.

An unforgettable start to Revival weekend.
