🌳 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫

The prolonged hot and dry weather is putting extra pressure on our trees. While established trees are usually able to cope, younger trees need a little more help.

BCP Council teams are continuing to water trees planted in the last three years, but residents can make a real difference too. If you see a young tree looking dry or starting to wilt, and it is safe for you to do so, a bucket of water could help it through this challenging period.

If you spot a tree that is struggling, please let us know at [email protected]. We can assess whether it can be added to a council watering round.

Together, we can help protect and establish the next generation of trees across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. 🌱💧
