On 30 September, we came together to celebrate a very special achievement: receiving a King’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development.

We were honoured to welcome the Lord Lieutenant of East Sussex, who presented the award and joined us in marking this incredible milestone.

The King’s Awards recognise outstanding achievements by UK businesses, and receiving one is a proud moment for everyone at Nikwax. It’s a reflection of the passion, innovation and commitment of our people, and our long-standing mission to enhance the enjoyment of the outdoors while protecting and preserving the natural environment.

🧼 Clean before you proof.

If your waterproof isn't performing like it used to, don't automatically reach for a reproofer.

Start with a clean.

Dirt and oils can affect the performance of waterproof clothing, so giving your gear a thorough clean is an important part of keeping it working at its best.

Then check the water repellency. If water is no longer beading on the fabric, it's time to reproof.

Clean first. Proof when needed.
