Please come and join us on Sunday, May 3rd at the Village Green (opposite the PO) at 3.00 pm for a family afternoon of fun and games. The occasion is to unveil the map for the 4 village trails, which is part of the Drayton Wayfinding Arts Trail. All will be explained on the day. There will also be a walnut tree planting, involving children in the village, so if you would like to take part, bring your garden spades. The Drayton Village Choir, courtesy of Kay Davies will be singing for us, and her band will be playing. There will be tea, juice and walnut cake, as well as a treasure hunt, and games and races for the children. Bring along your family, and help to make this a real village event when we all get together in true community spirit.
See the Chronicle for more details.

There have been repeated occurrences of damage to the fencing around the sports facilities at Walnut Meadows and attempts to break into the MUGAs and storage container. We hope to bring the MUGAs into use very soon but at present they are not operational.

The costs incurred by the Parish Council to rectify these issues come out of your Council Tax so if you know who is damaging the fencing please have a word. The Parish Council are also in contact with the Police but if anyone should see anything untoward, please report it to the Police non-emergency 101 service.
