Local Labour Councillors and members out and about serving the community with a bit of litter picking around Harvey Place on Sunday morning were joined by your MP Jacob Collier to knock on doors and chat to local residents. Many thanks to all who took the time to talk to us about issues important to you.

Good to see improvements to our leisure facilities being made by your Labour-led Borough Council.

🏊‍♀️🏋️‍♂️⚽ This week, we're shining a spotlight on the investment and improvements made across the borough’s leisure facilities over the last year.

From the refurbishment of the swimming pool changing rooms at Meadowside Leisure Centre, to upgraded LED floodlights at Thomas Alleyne's High School community-use pitch and improvement works at Uttoxeter Leisure Centre, we've been working to make sport, fitness and leisure more accessible, sustainable and enjoyable for everyone.

Keep an eye on our channels this week as we showcase some of the projects helping residents stay active across the borough 👀

Why not visit one of our facilities and see these improvements for yourself? 💙

Local Party members were out serving the community this morning by picking up litter on the footpath by the Heath Community Centre. It's amazing how many cans and packets grow in bushes! Then we were joined by our MP Jacob Collier to knock on doors and discuss local issues with residents. Many thanks to all those who engaged with us to talk about anything from traffic issues to social care.

A huge shout out to the volunteers and to the Francesco Hair Salon in Trinity Square, who supplied drinks to the Labour Councillors and members who spent a morning cleaning up Trinity Square, a part of Uttoxeter Town neglected by its owners.
