The Summer Reading Challenge is a national scheme organised by The Reading Agency to encourage children to read and visit libraries during the summer holidays. Walton Library is currently looking for Summer Reading Challenge volunteers. 🥰

Our rhymetimes are currently being held on Mondays and Thursdays. 10.30am, no booking required. Mondays are term time only!

The Surrey Library Quest is open to all Surrey Libraries members and runs until 28 November 2026.
After the closing date:
- Three people will win a £50 National Book Token
- One person will win an electric tablet

The Reading Agency's Summer Reading Challenge is coming up soon, and we need your help! If you have a few hours to spare over the Summer holidays during the week (our Saturdays are pretty much booked up already) then please fill in the Expression of Interest form at the address in the poster, or enquire at the library helpdesk.

In June we get to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community, and we're proud that our libraries are safe and inclusive spaces for everyone!
We have created a Pride book display at Walton Library, so come by and take a look and find yourself a new read for June. 🏳️‍🌈

As part of Foster Care Fortnight, come along to our friendly pop-up at Walton Library for an informal chat with our fostering team. 🫶
