There is plenty to discover this week as we welcome the start of October half-term! We’re open Wednesday to Sunday for a week of art, nature and autumn fun.

This weekend, get creative with our Halloween LEGO activities - build spooky scenes, creepy characters and plenty of pumpkins! You can also join artist Niall Singh for our Fantastical Creatures workshops (pictured). Both of these activities are for all ages, take place on Saturday and Sunday and are free to attend with admission.

There’s also plenty to explore in our galleries. Our free exhibition tours take place every Wednesday and Thursday at 11am and 2.30pm and the collections tour is at 12.30pm. All tours are included with your admission.

And don’t forget to make time for the outdoors and enjoy the beautiful autumn colours across our 120 acres of parkland. 🍁

We're delighted to have been named Best Green Business at the Stratford Herald Business & Tourism Awards 2026!

As a historic house, art gallery and 120-acre park, caring for our environment is just as important as caring for our collections and landscape. Over the past two years, we've made significant changes to how we operate, from installing 160 solar panels and restoring our pioneering lake source heat pump, to introducing electric transport and more energy-efficient systems. Together, these improvements are set to reduce our carbon emissions by 172 tonnes every year.

This award is a wonderful recognition of our team's hard work and our commitment to creating a more sustainable future for our organisation.

A big congratulations to the other shortlisted organisations who are also making great steps forward in this space.

We were also proud to be shortlisted for Best Customer Experience. Creating a warm, welcoming and memorable experience for everyone who visits Compton Verney is at the heart of what we do.

Thank you to our brilliant staff and volunteers, whose care, enthusiasm and dedication make Compton Verney such a wonderful place to visit. ✨
