As we move into Autumn, we have lots of celebrations to look forward to!

If you’re celebrating Diwali, Halloween or Bonfire Night, please make sure to take extra care with candles.

🕯️ Never place candles close to furnishings as they could catch fire
🕯️ Always use candles in a secure holder to prevent tipping which can cause fire hazards
🕯️ Put candles out when you leave the room, never leave them unattended

Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected and welcome in their home and community.

Hate crime is any crime motivated by hostility or prejudice towards a person's disability, race, religion, sexual orientation, transgender identity or another personal characteristic. If you experience or witness hate crime, it's important to report it.

You can do this by contacting the police on 101 (or 999 in an emergency) and let us know too. We're here to support our residents and can work with the police and partner organisations to help.

Our 2025/26 reports relate to the period before Thrive Homes and Watford Community Housing merged to form Chime Housing. This is why we have two separate reports that reflect the complaint handling performance of Thrive Homes and Watford Community Housing during this time.

It's National Customer Service Week (NCSW)!

Taking place every year on the first week of October, NCSW shines a spotlight on the impact customer service has on businesses and communities.

At Chime, we see this week as an opportunity to reflect on the service we provide to our customers every day. While we're proud of the positive difference our colleagues make, we also know there are times when we don't get things right. Listening to feedback, learning from complaints and continually improving our services are just as important as celebrating success.

Below are some of the compliments we've received from customers, recognising moments where our colleagues have made a positive difference to their experience.

October is Domestic Abuse Awareness Month. This month-long campaign is a dedicated to raising awareness, educating people about the different forms of domestic abuse and supporting survivors.

If you or someone you know is a victim of domestic abuse, please know support is available:

They provide support for victims and more information around what domestic abuse looks like and what legal action can be taken.

Refuge: www.nationaldahelpline.org.uk

A 24-hour National Domestic Abuse Helpline ran by a team of highly trained female advisers.
