For anyone who likes to be organised, 2027 diaries are now available from Windermere Post Office 📮 A4 Page a day and A4 week to view for all those businesses out there, B & B's, Restaurants, builders 👷‍♀️ workmen, dog groomer's 🐕 etc etc, anybody who needs to be taking bookings for appointments pop in now to purchase yours 📮

We also have A5 and really nice little pocket diaries available 😀

Well, what a day!!! 😍 We are absolutely OVERWHELMED (and slightly marshmallow-covered 😂) by the sheer number of you lovely lot who came along today to enjoy our little pumpkin trail through the woods! 🧡🍂

So, if you haven’t made it yet, or fancy one last wander through the pumpkins, SUNDAY IS YOUR LAST CHANCE! 🎃👀

And we’re going out with a BANG! 💥

🔥 Last chance to toast those marshmallows around the fire!
🌭 Last chance to get your hot dog fix!
☕ Last chance to warm your cockles with a big, cosy hot chocolate!

It’s been an absolute pleasure seeing so many happy faces enjoying our little trail, but goodness me, there’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes! 😂 It takes hours of planning, hard work, time and a fair bit of pumpkin-related madness to put it all together.

We honestly couldn’t do it without our amazing family and friends who muck in, lend a hand, put up with our crazy ideas and help make it all happen. ❤️ You are absolute legends, and we are so grateful! 🥰

And to everyone who has visited, supported us, bought a hot chocolate, toasted a marshmallow or simply come along for a wander… THANK YOU! 🧡

Welcome Saturday 👋

Back to work today after an interesting week, taking precious time off to be with family ❤️

Firstly Windermere Post Office will be open today Saturday 31st October 9.00am until 17.30pm for all things Post Office and Shop Retail 📮

A beautiful week spending time with my Great Neices, Neice and Sister and frustration from Thursday's absolute mindless vandalism to my new car 🚗

Thursday, firstly thank you to the Windermere Ferry who had initially closed the gates for the car ferry ⛴️ but reopened them to allow us to catch the 9.50 am crossing. Amazing customer service 👏

Amazing photos taken at Viewing Station, then onwards to the Chocolate Factory Hawkshead where my two Great Neices had an absolute blast in making chocolate dinosaurs 🦕 and rabbits and so much more, great fun and again amazing staff who work brilliantly with young children 🙏

Then onto Ambleside for a quick pitstop at the The Apple Pie Cafe Rooms and Holiday Cottages for the best apple pie money can buy 😋 😋 😋

Finally Thursday was wrapped up with a super duper carvery at Hayes Garden Centre and a mooch around the amazing Christmas bonanza 🎅 🎅 just for the record only 55 day's until Christmas 🎄 ho ho ho

Another enjoyable day with my wonderful family enjoying the sights and sounds of the Lake District

Slightly ruined as when going for a stroll around the park Fallbarrow Holiday Park my new car 🚗 which I'd acquired in July which was nicely parked within a bay outside the offices at Fallbarrow had a wonderful keyed scratch, that deep it's probably a stone etc right across passengers door and back door, we’re possibly thinking it was between 4pm and 5pm as a Tesla Car 🚗 was also scratched and was told they'd only been there an hr.

If anyone saw 👀 anything, please do let me know, I'm currently awaiting a crime number from the Police 🚔

Hello Thursday 😊

A very interesting 🤔 start to taking a few day's off this week with my family for the October half term with their stay at Fallbarrow Holiday Park with the horrendous storms over the weekend 😀

A massive improvement on Tuesday and Wednesday with a wonderful journey to the Lakes Aquarium courtesy of on Tuesday, whatever the season it's always a beautiful journey down the Lake, it doesn't get any better to be honest ❤️ absolutely stunning

Wednesday my two Great Neices went to work down the mine, at Honister Slate Mine 🤣 🤣 just a massive thank you to Owen and Honister Slate Mine for a fantastic trip down the mine, Owen was very informative, knowledgeable and humorous especially with his own personal anecdotes and with 39 people on the tour, Owen delivered an excellent excursion 🙏🙏

Just also a massive shout out to Marion, Sarah, Jo & Sue for looking after my little empire which is Windermere Post Office 📮

Hello Monday new week let's go 🚶‍♂️ 🚶‍♂️

Firstly I do hope everyone survived the battering from the storms over the weekend, very worrying with tree's coming down and flooding causing distress and disruption across the country 😳

Working late on Friday night to restock our range of card's before taking a few days off this week 😊

From family relation cards, sympathy, wedding, anniversary and humorous, we're now stocked and ready to go this Monday morning, hopefully see you all very soon 🙏
