Family Voice Surrey want to hear from children, young people, parents and carers about their experiences of Emotionally Based School Non-Attendance (EBSNA). The feedback will help to understand what support and improvements to services families may benefit from.

🚨 WE NEED YOUR VOICE! 🚨

Is your child struggling with school attendance because of anxiety or emotional distress?

Family Voice Surrey wants to hear from you.

We’re running a new survey about Emotionally Based School Non-Attendance (EBSNA) to understand what families are experiencing right now.

Your experiences can help us build the evidence needed to improve support, training and resources across Surrey.

If EBSNA has affected your family, please take our survey

👉 TAKE THE SURVEY: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/5NH7BZK

Please share this post with other families who may have an experience to share. Together, we can help make sure families are heard. Every response matters. Every voice can help create change.

📢 New SEND Communication Arrangements at Surrey County Council

📅 Update & Follow-Up Session – Wednesday 4th November at 12.30pm

Thank you to everyone who joined our engagement session in July with Debbie Degnan from the Surrey County Council SEND Team, focusing on the new SEND communication arrangements.

At that session, Debbie offered a follow-up meeting to provide an update now that the new process has been in place for longer, and to hear further feedback from families and professionals.

💻 The follow-up session will take place online on Wednesday 4th November at 12.30pm.

👉 You do not need to have attended the previous session to join us. The session is open to anyone who has been affected by the new arrangements and would like to share their experiences. 📊 Your feedback matters

Before the session, we will be re-running the poll we carried out when the changes were first introduced. Once available, we will email the poll to everyone who has registered and share it across our social media channels.

The results will provide valuable statistical data to help highlight areas where challenges remain, as well as any improvements since the previous poll.

We would really encourage families to take part and share their experiences.

We look forward to seeing you there - please click here to register: 9575e2a5-a832-4420-9d75-bddf2db8c951@47850cc7-0029-456e-a39f-868909baf60b" rel="ugc" target="_blank">https://events.teams.microsoft.com/event/9575e2a5-a832-4420-9d75-bddf2db8c951@47850cc7-0029-456e-a39f-868909baf60b
