St John is proud to join Sea Cadets The Scouts and Girlguiding in calling for 35 hours of volunteering leave to reverse the decline in volunteer numbers & empower our communities.

This proposal will enable volunteers to step forward and deploy at times of crisis.

Tonight our Badgers have been doing Railway safety as part of Safety Badger. We watched some videos about how to stay safe near railway tracks. These two pieces are by Jordan who learned how to keep pets safe and to entice them back over the fence line with a treat. And Gerald who listened and completed his picture independently with his own interpretation of a train (from in the night garden)

Our badgers have been looking at what makes a good first aider this evening. I totally think rainbow shoes should be included in the uniform!
