🌺 The Remembrance period begins.

As we enter this period of reflection, we remember all those who have served, those who made the ultimate sacrifice and all those whose lives have been changed by conflict.

For the Royal Air Force Air Cadets, Remembrance is an opportunity to honour their service and sacrifice, to learn from their stories, and to ensure their legacy lives on in future generations.

Across the country, our cadets and volunteers will join their communities in paying tribute to the fallen. By standing alongside veterans, serving personnel and members of the public, they help keep the act of Remembrance alive.

We will remember them.

DCCT(E) OPERATOR ✅️

A huge well done to OC, Plt Off Crump who has successfully completed the DCCT (Dismounted Close Combat Trainer) Operator Course, following the course with No 7 (Wales and West) Small Arms Training Team.

This is a fantastic achievement and demonstrates a commitment to developing the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to support the safe and effective delivery of cadet training.

The course provides the knowledge and practical understanding required to operate the DCCT system, helping to deliver engaging, realistic and valuable training opportunities for our cadets in a controlled training environment.

WING COMPETITION DAY 2026 🔥

Yesterday, our cadets competed against other Air Cadet Squadrons across North and Mid-Wales at the No 2 Welsh Wing ATC Competition Day 2026.

Results:
Leadership - 3rd 🥉
Foot Drill - 3rd 🥉
Banner - 2nd 🥈
Space - 5th
Shooting - 11th
Radio - 4th
First Aid - 10th
RPAS - 11th

Overall - 4th out of 22!

Fantastic effort from the Squadron across all competitions, well done to all of those involved 👏
