Built in 1845 Wicklewood Mill is a five storey tower mill with 4 sails, a boat shaped cap and 6 bladed fantail. Open on selected dates and by appointment.

Built in 1845 Wicklewood Mill is a grist mill for animal feed. Last milling in 1941 it was left to deteriorate until it was taken into the care of Norfolk Windmills Trust in 1977. Wicklewood Windmill was open to the public for the first time in 1979 when over 300 people visited. The first restoration of the mill was carried out from 1979 to 1981. A very, VERY big thank you to all our lovely visitors today! Thank you all for your patience- we had such a successful day and had a record number of teddy bears descend our zip wire. It was so lovely to see all of your amazing soft animals. Our volunteers had so much fun and we hope you did too. I think we are going to sleep well tonight!

Yippee! There are only 3 more sleeps until our favourite open day of the year, our Teddy Bear Zip Wire Event! 🐻🐨🐼 Come and join us on Sunday 14th June, 2 to 5pm, for an afternoon filled with fun, tea and cakes.

Our teddy bear zip wire is open to all varieties of soft toys 🧸 ….. a knitted tractor even descended last year! 🚜

Our favourite open day of the year is nearly here!! We cannot wait to welcome you all to our annual Teddy Bear Zip Wire Event at Wicklewood Windmill on Sunday 14th June.

Bring your cuddly toys along to the windmill, climb the ladders and watch your brave bears descend from one of its windows! 🧸

It is a fun filled afternoon for children and adults alike! 🐻🦁🐰

We will be opening our doors once again on Sunday 10th May for National Mills Weekend. Wicklewood Windmill is a beautiful, 181 year old, 5 storey tower mill. Whether you are a mill enthusiast, have an interest in historic buildings, like climbing ladders or simply enjoy eating cake - there is something for everyone!
