💪 Balance, agility and strength – Oak Class had it all covered in their end-of-term PE lesson! 🤸‍♀️

The children showed fantastic teamwork, determination and enthusiasm as they put their skills to the test. What a brilliant way to finish the half term! 🌟👏

Lots of fun as Elm Class have put their tennis skills to the test over the past few weeks! 🎾 The children have been working hard on their use of the forehand and backhand, before advancing to creating their own games to practise a wide range of skills important in tennis: hitting with control, aiming into space, positioning themselves and winning points in different ways. Plenty of focus, teamwork and creative ideas on show.

“Champions, olé, olé, olé!” ⚽🏆

What a day for our Y5/6 footballers! Both teams showed outstanding teamwork, resilience and skill, giving us plenty to cheer about. There were countless fantastic goals and even a Kirklevington vs Kirklevington derby match, which was played in excellent spirits.

For one team, it all came down to the final game of the day. After a tense match, a late goal sealed the league title! 🎉

We’re so proud of every player. Well done, everyone! 👏

We’re so proud of our finished Día de los Mu***os masks! 🇲🇽💀🎨 Elm Class have been learning about the colourful parades, from the music and costumes to the skull masks people wear to celebrate and remember loved ones.

The children really enjoyed designing and making their masks, showing great initiative as they tweaked their ideas along the way. All of our finished masks are going to be on display in the classroom, surrounding our writing all about the festival.

Today we celebrated harvest in assembly. We shared how children in our village have celebrated harvest for hundreds of years, and how special it is to be a part of this historical celebration. Thank you to all of our families for the donations of food, which has now been donated to a local food bank 🌾🌾
