We had the fabulous Terry Gleed sparkle up our Friday singing and performing for us! We all very much enjoyed our afternoon with plenty of dancing, happy faces and singing along together and we look forward to welcoming Terry back in less than two weeks! 😁🎃🎤🎶🥳

Our Loving Later Life Awards spotlight continues with James Rae, winner of the Neighbour Like No Other Award.

Living at Hanover Close in Andover, James is always ready to lend a hand to his neighbours. Whether helping with practical tasks, giving people lifts to appointments or getting involved in community projects such as building a garden bench, he makes a real difference.

James said: “It’s nice to be thought of, and I couldn’t have done it without everyone else in our lovely community!”

🎃 Happy Halloween!

There’s been plenty of fun across our care homes, with residents and colleagues getting creative with crafts, carving pumpkins, enjoying spooky snacks and getting together for Halloween themed parties.

💜 Join West Hall care home for a Remembrance Service on Thursday 5 November.

They will come together to honour the lives of lost loved ones, with singing from Feltonfleet School, a performance by harpist Danielle and a service led by Revd. Dr Keith Elford, Vicar of West Byfleet and New Haw.

Friends, family and members of the local community are warmly invited. Refreshments will be served after the service.

What happens when a passion for dance becomes part of your day job?

For Bob, a Care Assistant at Anchor - St Edith's Court, it means bringing music, movement and plenty of encouragement to regular Zest sessions with residents.

Bob has been delivering Zest at the care home since completing his training, and says it’s his favourite part of the job.

“It’s my favourite part of the job. We all feel good after it.”

Yesterday our lovely residents took part in the Willow Wednesday morning competitive games! 💪🤾‍♀️⚾️ There was plenty of healthy competition with the different rounds. Congratulations to Ronnie for being our winner! 🏆

We thoroughly enjoyed an outing to Piacenza Italian Restaurant today for a fabulous lunch! The food was absolutely delicious, and a big thank you to the gentleman there that was so attentive, accommodating and made us feel so welcome! There was lots of laughter, smiles and conversation flowing while we had an amazing meal out 😀🍴🍅🧄🍷

After 10 wonderful years at Willow Gardens, it's time to give Angie the send-off she truly deserves! 🥹❤️

⚠️ A little warning though... We can't promise there will be a dry eye left in the house! 😭 But don't worry, we'll have plenty of tissues at the ready! 🧻💕

Whilst we are truly sad to see them go, we are incredibly grateful for all the wonderful memories, laughter and happiness they have brought to Willow Gardens. We wish them both nothing but love, happiness and exciting new adventures ahead! 🌸

We're combining their farewell with our Wear It Pink Party in support of Breast Cancer Now, so dig out something pink and come along! 💗🎉

On Thursday, we had the lovely Collette Ashby join us for an afternoon of wonderful music, golden oldies and toe-tapping tunes! 🎤💃

Our residents thoroughly enjoyed listening to some familiar favourites, singing along and reminiscing about songs that brought back special memories. ❤️🎵

On Tuesday we were delighted to welcome the wonderful Lucy back to Willow Gardens for an afternoon of fantastic entertainment! 💃🎵

Our residents thoroughly enjoyed listening to Lucy sing, with plenty of smiles, toe-tapping and singing along to some familiar favourites! ❤️

There's nothing quite like live music to lift everyone's spirits and bring back those special memories. 🥰

🛍️☕ Shopping, Smiles & a Cuppa! ☕🛍️

Yesterday we enjoyed a lovely outing to Discoveries Charity Shop & Coffee Shop! ❤️

We had a wonderful time browsing around the shop, seeing what little treasures we could find, before taking a well-earned break to enjoy a drink and a good old natter! ☕🥰

Sometimes it's the simplest outings that bring the biggest smiles, and this was certainly one of them! 🌸

A big thank you to everyone at Discoveries Community Shop for making us feel so welcome. We look forward to visiting again soon! 💕
