The Council of Europe invites applicants for the tender on local consultancy services under the Project “Support to Civil Dialogue in Georgia”.
We are establishing a pool of experts across four thematic areas: democratic rights and freedoms; deliberative and innovative participatory democracy; gender equality, non-discrimination and countering hate speech; and participatory facilitation for civil dialogue and democratic engagement.

საქართველოში პირველად, ორ სკოლაში - თბილისის 177-ე საჯარო სკოლასა და ზესტაფონის მე-4 საჯარო სკოლაში - განხორციელდა სასკოლო მონაწილეობითი ბიუჯეტირების პროცესი, რომელშიც 900-ზე მეტმა მოსწავლემ და მასწავლებელმა მიიღო გადაწყვეტილების მიღების პროცესში მონაწილეობა.
ისეთ პროექტებზე მუშაობით, როგორიცაა ჯანსაღი ცხოვრების წესის აპლიკაცია, კინოკლუბი, მედია სტუდია, სამაგიდო თამაშების ან პრეზენტაციებისათვის განკუთვნილი სივრცეები, მოსწავლეებმა ისწავლეს სკოლისა და თემის პრობლემების შემოქმედებითად შეფასება, იდეების ერთობლივად განვითარება, დემოკრატიული პროცესების (მაგალითად, არჩევნების) ორგანიზება და ადამიანის უფლებების გათვალისწინება პროექტების დაგეგმვისას.
გამარჯვებული ექვსი პროექტი (სკოლაში უნივერსალური სივრცე, ღია კლასი - სწავლა ღია სივრცეში, მედია სტუდია, სპორტული სივრცის გაუმჯობესება, სამაგიდო თამაშების სივრცე და კინოკლუბი) ორივე სკოლაში 2026 წლის თებერვლიდან აპრილის ჩათვლით განხორციელდება.

For the first time in Georgia, two schools in Tbilisi (177 public school) and Zestaponi (4 Public school) organised school participatory budgeting activities and engaged more than 900 students and teachers in decision-making.
By working on projects, such as application for healthy lifestyle, movie club, media club, creating dedicated spaces for boardgames or presentations in the schools, students learnt to critically assess the existing problems in their schools or communities, develop ideas collaboratively, organise democratic processes (such as elections), and consider human rights while developing projects.
Six winning projects (universal space in the school, open class - learning in an open space, media studio, improvements to the sport’s space, boardgames space and movie club) will be implemented between February and April 2026 in the two mentioned schools.

🚸Resource officers, social workers and psychologists from Tbilisi, Shida Kartli, Kvemo Kartli, Imereti, Samegrelo, Guria, and Ajara schools are improving their knowledge and practical skills on human rights to prevent and eliminate discrimination and bullying in Georgian public schools.

ბავშვთა ონლაინ სექსუალური ექსპლუატაციისა და ძალადობის წინააღმდეგ რეაგირების გაძლიერება საქართველოში.

თბილისსა და ბათუმში ტრენერთა ტრენინგის ორი სესია ჩატარდა, რამაც მნიშვნელოვნად გააძლიერა პროკურორების, გამომძიებლებისა და ადვოკატების შესაძლებლობები ბავშვთა ონლაინ სექსუალური ექსპლუატაციის, ძალადობის პრევენციისა და მასზე რეაგირების მიმართულებით.

მონაწილეებმა მეტი შეიტყვეს ციფრული მტკიცებულებების, მსხვერპლზე ორიენტირებული მიდგომებისა და საერთაშორისო სამართლებრივი სტანდარტების შესახებ და გამოხატეს სურვილი, ტრენინგები თავიანთ დაწესებულებებში განახორციელონ.

Strengthening responses to online child sexual exploitation and abuse in Georgia.

Two Training-of-Trainers sessions were held in Tbilisi and Batumi - significantly strengthening the capacity of prosecutors, investigators and lawyers to prevent and respond to online child sexual exploitation and abuse.

Participants learned more about digital evidence, victim-centred approaches and international legal standards, and committed to cascading the training within their institutions.
