Riding is a therapy that gives a world of benefits. Riding provides physiotherapy on the move. 🐣Happy Easter from all of us at RDA Guernsey! 🐣
We’ve had so much fun in our recent sessions, with our riders enjoying some Easter egg games in the saddle! 🐴🥚
Plenty of eggs to be found and a squeeze bunny that they all loved!
Plus it was great to capture William scoring so many egg goals! Everyone went home with an easter bag and rosette (gratefully donated from various people 🙏)

Some say it’s too early for tinsel…
…but we say it’s never too early when you’ve got riders this cute! 🎄🐴💫
Our little stars had the best time in their RDA lesson this week, full of squeals, sparkles, and a bit of festive magic. And to top it all off, at the end of her lesson one of our tiniest riders Poppy treated us to the sweetest rendition of 🌟Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
This was the perfect way to wrap up our autumn term.
We’re now taking a well-earned break and will be back in the New Year for more smiles, confidence-building and pony love.
Thank you to all our riders, volunteers, and supporters for a wonderful term.

On this International Day of People with Disabilities, we are excited to launch the new RDA Impact Report - a celebration of the life-changing difference RDA makes for disabled people across the UK.

Each year, RDA enriches the lives of over 39,000 disabled children and adults, building confidence, connection and joy through the power of horses. Therapeutic riding, carriage driving and equine-assisted learning improve wellbeing, confidence, independence and social connection, while fostering inclusion and strengthening communities.

Here’s a snapshot of the difference we’re making:
80% of parents/carers think the changes in participants would not have happened without RDA
95% of participants feel calm and focused during sessions
82% feel more connected to others
90% feel more confident in themselves
88% have better posture, balance and co-ordination

Thursdays 1:30pm to 2:30pm Le Carrier stables GY2 4YE
(Term time only) We can’t wait to see our riders, volunteers, and ponies back in action.
