A total of 1,600 applicants reported to the Nicholson Stadium recruitment centre, with about 800 successfully screened as at midday.
To ensure efficiency, officials divided the potential recruits into two groups, allowing for a steady flow of applicants and smooth coordination at the centre.
The process has been orderly, timely and calm.

GAF RESUMES RELEASE OF SOLDIERS AFTER 5 YEARS EXTENDED SERVICE
Ghana Armed Forces has resumed its General Releases of Soldiers who have completed their authorized thirty years of service, in accordance with GAF Regulations, after Other Ranks releases were suspended in 2020, with the dawn of Constitutional Instrument 129, which extended their careers for 5 additional years.
