Personnel in Ahafo Region Headquarters embarked on bushfire and general fire safety on air at Adunu FM (89.7 MHz) at Sankore.

The aim was to bring residents up to speed on the dangers of indiscriminate bush burning, how to safely use electricity, electrical appliances, LPG cylinders and burners and the need to acquire fire certificates on their premises.

The Team answered all the questions received from listeners on the show. Well done ✌🏽🎈✨to Regional Fire Safety Officer, ADO I Emmanuel Buckman and Regional Rural Fires Coordinator, ADO II Samuel Afram and the rest of the team for a good job done.

CADETS OF BEREKUM COLLEGE OF EDUCATION SCHOOLED ON BASIC FIRE SAFETY MANAGEMENT

The 24 Member Cadet Squad from the Berekum College of Education earlier this morning, Saturday, February 11, 2023 received basic fire safety management training at the premises of the Berekum Fire Station.

The Squad was enlightened on the elements of combustion, classes of fire, basic fire drills and how to douse small fires using a wet blanket and a fire extinguisher.

Kudos ✊🏽πŸ”₯✌🏽to the Operational Men who took the Cadets through the familiarization of equipment and basic fire drills.
