The National Premix Fuel Secretariat (NPFS) continues its nationwide Premix Fuel Accountability & Bookkeeping Exercise, with the latest phase successfully conducted for Landing Beach Committees (LBCs) in Afadzato South (Kpeve), South Dayi (Dzemeni), Biakoye, Krachi East, Krachi Nchumuru, Nkwanta South, and Nkwanta North.
As part of the Secretariat’s ongoing nationwide engagement, the exercise focuses on strengthening accountability, improving bookkeeping and record-keeping practices, enhancing compliance with operational guidelines, and building the capacity of LBCs in the effective management of Community Development Funds.
The sessions also provide an important platform for addressing operational challenges, sharing best practices, and engaging stakeholders on issues affecting premix fuel administration within both coastal and inland fishing communities.
This exercise forms part of a broader nationwide accountability and capacity-building initiative being undertaken by the NPFS and will continue in other fishing communities and districts across the country that are yet to be reached.
The Secretariat remains committed to promoting transparency, responsible fund management, and good governance in support of sustainable fisheries development nationwide.
