Tug-Argan Garrison Holds Thanksgiving Service

Tug-Argan Garrison on Friday, 28 November 2025, held its fourth quarter thanksgiving service to celebrate and express gratitude to God for the blessings and protection received throughout the year.

The service drew participation from personnel of 1 Infantry Battalion and 25 Light Air Defence, alongside members of the Christian community from various denominations in the surrounding area.

The gathering was marked by prayer points, praise and worship songs, and a spirit of unity across the military and civilian attendees.

Delivering the homily, Garrison Chaplain Assistant, Warrant Officer Class One (WOI) Queen Ngoma underscored the importance of gratitude.

WOI Ngoma drew on biblical references from Luke 17:11–19 and 1 Thessalonians 5:16–19, reminding the gathering of the value of thanksgiving in both personal and collective life.

The Army Special Operations Brigade (ASOB) has conducted an Operational Readiness Inspection (ORI) at the 69 Airborne Force in Tamale to assess and enhance the Unit’s operational efficiency, an exercise carried out on Friday 14 November 2025.
