🚨 KoKMA Intensifies Revenue Mobilization Exercise at Tema Station
Hon. Alfred Allotey-Gaisie, MCE for KoKMA, together with Heads of Departments and Units, today embarked on a revenue mobilization and public education exercise at Tema Station to improve IGF collection and encourage compliance among rate payers.

KoKMA MCE Visits BECE Centres, Motivates Candidates
As the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) enters Day Three, the Municipal Chief Executive for the Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly (KoKMA), Hon. Alfred Allotey-Gaisie, this morning toured selected examination centres within the municipality to inspect the ongoing exams and encourage candidates to remain focused.
During the visit, the MCE interacted with supervisors, invigilators, and students, commending the smooth conduct of the examination process so far. He urged the candidates to stay calm, avoid examination malpractice, and give off their best as they approach the final stages of the exams.
Hon. Allotey-Gaisie also reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to supporting quality education and creating an enabling environment for academic excellence across the municipality.

US Embassy and KoKMA Discuss Key Areas of Mutual Development Cooperation
A United States Embassy official, Mr. Michael Kmiecinski, has paid a courtesy call on the Municipal Chief Executive of the Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly (KoKMA), Hon. Alfred Allotey-Gaisie, to discuss areas of mutual cooperation and development.
The engagement focused on opportunities for students and professionals, cultural exchange programmes, trade and commercial collaboration, and the establishment of sister-city relations.
Hon. Allotey-Gaisie reaffirmed KoKMA’s commitment to local economic development, improved sanitation, and creating a more organized and conducive business environment within the Central Business District.

🚨 Korle Klottey Unveils Bold Urban Transformation Agenda
The Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly has announced major progress in revenue growth, infrastructure delivery, and sanitation reforms as part of its 2026 development drive.
Delivering his sessional address, the MCE, Hon. Alfred Allotey-Gaisie, outlined key gains and new initiatives aimed at reshaping the municipality.
🔑 Key Highlights:
📈 46.84% revenue growth recorded in Q1 2026, with IGF performance at 27.12%
🏗️ Ongoing projects include a CHPS compound at Adabraka, KG & library block at Osu Manhean, and water supply systems
🚧 GARID flood control works set to resume with new implementation measures
🧭 Plans underway for a Spatial Development Framework (SDF) to guide urban planning
💼 Upcoming Business & Investment Forum (May 26, 2026) to attract investors
🌙 Selection for a 24-hour night economy pilot programme
🧹 New sanitation reforms including 24-hour patrol teams and waste recovery systems
👶 Over 725 adolescents benefited from health and child protection programmes
🐔 Nearly 8,000 birds distributed under the “Nkukor Nketenkete” initiative
🤝 New international partnership established with Kotovsk, Russia
