The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) joined a diverse cross-section of Ghanaians to celebrate the 68th Independence Anniversary at the Jubilee House in Accra, themed "Reflect, Review, and Reset."
The vibrant event featured captivating poetry recitals, lively dance and musical performances by enthusiastic schoolchildren, and a ceremonial parade by the Ghana Armed Forces.

The International Organization for Migration (IOM Ghana) has donated ICT equipment, office furniture, and stationary, among others to Migration Information Centres of the Ghana Immigration Service in furtherance of empowering migrants with accurate information.
CGI Kwame Asuah Takyi (Esq.) received the donation at the National Headquarters and expressed gratitude to the IOM Chief of Mission, Mad. Fatou Diallo Ndiaye who made the presentation.

The CGI Kwame Asuah Takyi (Esq.), along with management members and officers from the National Headquarters and the Greater Accra Regional Command, attended the burial service of Assistant Inspector Salomey Hoggar in Accra.
The solemn gathering provided an opportunity for the officers to mourn with the family and pay their last respect to their fallen colleague.

The CGI Kwame Asuah Takyi, (Esq.) visited the newly acquired 26 3/2 bedroom apartments at the JAK Estate in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.
These apartments were purchased by the Service from the State Housing Company to ease the accommodation needs of officers within the Greater Kumasi Regional Command.

CGI Kwame Asuah Takyi, (Esq.) , along with management members and some officers of GIS attended the thanksgiving service of Mrs. Jane Aboah, wife of former Director of Immigration COP (Rtd.) W.K. Aboah, at the Police Church in Accra. The ceremony was also attended by notable dignitaries, including Hon. Osafo Marfo, former Finance Minister.

The burial and final funeral rites for Mrs. Jane Adwoa Attaa Aboah, wife of former Director of Immigration, COP (Rtd.) W.K. Aboah, was held at the Ridge Church, Accra.
The ceremony was attended by CGI Kwame Asuah Takyi, (Esq.) his Deputies, Management Members, and officers from the Immigration National Headquarters, joined the family to mourn her passing.
